Dylan is a contemporary multi-family complex. The majority of the building consists of four stories with the exception of the north side of the building, which is five stories built around a six-story, 132,780 sq. ft. parking garage with 370 parking spaces. Dylan’s 274 units provide its potential tenants with studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom options. The studios have Juliet balconies and are 558 to 573 square feet.

Scope of Work:

• Two services at opposite ends of the building combine for 9000A. Design Build process required careful layout to distribute the 9000A from only two service points. Twenty smaller electric rooms were needed to accommodate.

• 1st Electric Contractors furnished and installed Fire Alarm, Rescue Assistance, and Access Control throughout a phased turnover.

• There were 5,280 light fixtures installed. Many amenities were salvaged from the pre-existing lot and incorporated into the new design. Instead of installing new light poles, salvaged red-iron I-Beams were installed and affixed with LED’s.

• The project required 677,600 feet of installed wire; approximately 126.4 miles!
